Hey everyone, Kimberly here from AskSpot, and I'm thrilled to introduce an exciting new feature that’s set to transform how users interact with your website—meet Navbot, our latest enhancement to the AskSpot chatbot platform.

What is Navbot?

Navbot is a sophisticated addition to our existing chatbot widget, designed to improve user engagement through an innovative navigation assistant. This feature acts as an interactive question widget that expands when clicked, making it easier for users to access information quickly and efficiently.

Setting Up Navbot

To get started with Navbot, simply navigate to your chatbot settings on the AskSpot dashboard. Within the customization tab, you'll notice the addition of the Navbot feature next to the traditional chatbot widget.

Customization Options:

Placement Flexibility: Navbot can be aligned anywhere on your webpage—right, left, center, top, or bottom—allowing you to choose the position that best suits your site’s layout and user flow.

Border Color Customization: You can select a border color that fits your website's branding. Navbot allows for a choice between a solid or gradient style, enhancing the visual appeal and seamlessly integrating with your design aesthetic.

Embedding Navbot on Your Website

Embedding Navbot is straightforward. Within the chatbot settings, you can access the embed code directly from the ‘code’ or ‘share’ options. This code can be placed directly onto your webpage. However, it's important to note that currently, you can use either the traditional chatbot script or the Navbot script on the same page, but not both.

Live Demonstration

To give you a better understanding of how Navbot works in action, I've prepared a demonstration on an example page. Here, you can see how Navbot appears beneath a video, inviting users to engage by asking questions directly related to the content they've just viewed. This immediate interaction capability can significantly enhance user engagement and provide instant support to your visitors.
